Why do you like it here?
The Canadian Rockies are the most beautiful mountains we’ve ever seen, and you’re surrounded by them in Banff. There’s so much to do and see here––hiking, glaciers, glacier-fed lakes, scenic drives and 4 other Canadian National Parks in day-trip distance.
What’s your favorite part about this view?
It makes me realize that there are so many beautiful things to experience. All you have to do is put yourself out there and make it happen.
How do you decide where to go next?
We typically pick a bucket list location for the year, and fill in stops between our destination and the East Coast, where most of our family and friends reside. We also take into account the need to be near an airport for work trips.
Which views are on your bucket list?
We would love to dry camp on the edge of a canyon, stay at an oceanfront RV resort and let the waves lull us to sleep, and RV through Europe and New Zealand.
What’s one piece of advice you have for RVers?
Be flexible and willing to adjust on a moment’s notice, because there will always be bumps along the way––break-downs, traffic, unexpected family emergencies, etc. You can’t let these situations bring you down. We’ve found they usually happen for a reason and you have to make the most of it.
