Why do you like it here?
The southern Oregon coast is rugged and wonderful. It’s a photographers dream–offering just the right amount of adventure and solitude.
What noteworthy places are nearby?
To the north, you can find quirky seafood markets in Coos Bay. To the south, rugged rocks and ocean views for miles. Perfect for day hiking, and US 101 has tons of pull offs for driving breaks.
What’s your favorite part about this view?
How small I am in the grand scheme of things, a reminder from the natural world to stay humble.
How do you decide where to go next?
Flip a coin. Blindly drag my fingers across a map. Dream up the next landscape I want to immerse myself in. Allow locals to dictate the next destination and must-sees.
What’s one piece of advice you have for RVers?
For as much desire as we have to document moments and trips, remember to take a few moments to soak in the landscape without a camera. Just be.
