Who’s your favorite travel buddy & why?
Each other. Our kids make traveling so memorable and fun. They truly live life to the fullest and their love and passion for being outdoors is contagious. We know what a gift it is to travel together.
What’s your favorite part about this view & why?
To be surrounded by sand dunes without the ocean is such a mystery––the two usually go hand in hand. These dunes are constantly changing with the wind and weather patterns. Walking through them and feeling the sand between your toes with mountains in the distance is incredibly calming.
How do you decide where to go next?
We do not plan. If we see someplace we want to go, we make it happen.
Which views are on your bucket list & why?
Northeast for the fall foliage. We love the changing of the seasons and to be someplace surrounded with amazing fall foliage has always been on our bucket list. South Texas is home for us and we have never experienced a picturesque northern fall.
Who do you wish you could share this view with & why?
All of our friends and family! This would be the perfect place for a family reunion or get together. There are large parking areas right next to the dunes. You could spend all day in one area with picnic tables and playing in the dunes.
