Meet the Sauls
The Saul family, a family of four, made the bold decision to leave their home in Asheville, North Carolina, and hit the road in their Heartland Cyclone 4150 toy hauler. Passionate about travel, they love exploring new destinations and sharing their experiences—whether it's uncovering hidden gems, tasting local cuisine, or immersing themselves in new cultures. Their goal is to inspire and empower others to pursue their travel dreams and embrace the freedom and flexibility that a nomadic lifestyle offers.
Describe your camping style
We’re always taking extended trips in our Heartland Cyclone 4150 and our style tends to be more go-with-the-flow. We like to let the road lead us to our next destination and not pre-plan everything down to the finer details. We find that this allows us the luxury of staying at a mix of RV resorts and state parks based on where and how long we plan to stay! Sometimes we might want to leave a place early or sometimes we might fall in love with a place and want to extend our stay!

What is something that always lifts your spirits?
Being outside in nature always lifts our spirits! Whether hiking, biking, paddle boarding or simply sitting on our Toy Hauler patio, nature always brings us joy and happiness. It's hard to be upset when the sun is shining and the birds are chirping.

What is your preferred type of camping?
We prefer staying at RV resorts and parks. We enjoy the amenities and luxuries that can be found at these locations, like hot tubs, pickleball courts, and playgrounds.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever given or received?
Take your time. Don’t always have everything detailed and planned out. Some of our best memories came from changing plans and deciding to go wherever the road led us!

What is your travel philosophy?
The biggest adventure you could embark on is to live the life of your dreams! Don’t wait to travel or go on that adventure. The time is now!

Kearstin & David's Top RV Destinations
La Push, Washington
We love La Push for its scenic beaches and abundant wildlife! We like to camp right next to the beach where we can listen to the crashing waves while sitting out by the campfire or when relaxing and having coffee on our Toy Hauler back porch. On our last visit, we were even fortunate enough to see whales!
Grand Teton National Park
With its incredible mountain views and amazing outdoor recreation, Grand Teton National Park is one of the best locations we’ve visited. Whenever we visit, we like to explore its winding, scenic bike paths or spend a day paddle boarding and swimming in the refreshing clear waters of String Lake!
White Sands National Park
White Sands also makes the top of our list because of its incredible scenic views and endless sandboarding opportunities. Nothing beats spending all day sledding down the giant white dunes before taking in the most amazing sunset!
Sedona, Arizona
Sedona’s red rock mountains and endless hiking opportunities make it a true gem in our book! We love to spend the day on the trails where we’re surrounded by red rock formations and geological wonders.
Banff National Park
The Canadian Rockies can easily be described as “majestic” with the way they seem to tower over you in every direction. Between the mountain landscapes, alpine lakes, and glaciers, Banff is a dream for us!
